I know there have been many stories on here about puppies hurting their legs. So maybe someone can help me just to relieve my puppy of some pain. Kamari (4 months old) just fell off the bed trying to jump on Kodak. My bed is not that high but she's tiny. I was changing clothes and as I bent down, she leaped instead of using her pet stairs. She has never hopped off the bed before, I think she got excited when she saw Kodak. Kodak woke up and came in the room and she just jumped. I saw her moving and she was falling as I was getting up so I couldn't stop her. So outside of the vet being closed, I'm going thru the phone book looking for an animal hospital. I have no transportation because I let my brother use my car tonight and he has no cell phone.
I want to have the information so I can get outta here as soon as he gets back. She cried for a minute then she limped, it's the right hind leg. She lets me touch her thigh and I moved it around a little and she didn't flitch but she's limping. I feel so helpless. I may be in the wrong topic for this, forgive me as I am desperate. I hate to see mines hurt or any animal for that matter, it makes me tear up.
