I read every post about your sick puppy. It was so sad. I don't know about tracheal wash in puppies, but I'm a nurse and when I read the original post about the baby being fine except for the cough, then they did the procedure and the baby became critical, i thought, "OMG, the puppy aspirated-it's aspiration pneumonia!" I also thought it was strange that they would do this procedure if he really didn't have any other symptoms of illness. Pippa had kennel cough when we got her, my vet said we would try amoxicillin, but it may not work because many times it is a viral illness that has to run it's course. I'm sure you wish you could turn back time! I hope you find some answers, I certainly think it was the vet's intervention that led to your puppy's death.
