....oh the joys of barking dogs !
....our three yorkies aren't bad, but our bearded collie, Tasha is a nightmare.

....she barks at her shadow, any noise, the cooker, (as she doesn't like it) the washing machine, the birds, the pan-cupboard,(the clanging) the wheelie-bin, my rabbits,(they scuttle) the vaccume cleaner, the postman, etc, etc. etc
....she sings to the Dr Zivago theme tune of the ice-cream van, and sings to me saying "do peepees" to the yorkies ! ....oh, and the mouth-organ !
(we like the singing though - it's like a wolf howl and it's cute, and she loves to do it as she waggs her tail saying how clever she is !)

....nothing works on the barking though - she is hyper sensitive, and we are hoping she is going to go deaf in her old age, lol (Our last Beardie did !.....Tasha is nearly 6)

.....don't try the beeping collar....it makes no difference and is expensive and a waste of money.
.....Police dog handlers said squirting lemon at her everytime she barked would work - and aim it at her nose - it didn't, she would bite the lemon and sneeze, and end up with a crusty dried in lemoned nose !
.....telling her off hasn't worked, and nor does positive reinforcement.
.....I think our only hope is that she goes deaf in her old age !
