 By Accident?
I found YT. by accident.......after I saw my first Yorkie in person , while visiting the North end of Boston for a Chiropractor's Appt. It was 3 lb. male with the sweetest personality that convinced me in 10 min. that I had to have one ASAP! That was a Thursday afternoon and I had a male Yorkie, shipped to me by Sunday evening for the ridiculous price of $2,950.00 plus $250.00 to ship him from Ft. Lauderdale to Boston! Thank God it was my Birthday otherwise I wouldn't have gotten away with that Temper Tantrum?
So it was after I purchased my own Yorkie and I had to do extensive research to try to figure out the best approach to thouroughly Train him? 4 yrs. ago they weren't all the rage and I couldn't find enough books and magazines on the subject so I searched the Internet for as much information that I could find? And the rest is History! I now have 3, that first male Artie 3 yrs. old and his female Abigail and one of their baby girls that is only 8 months @ 4 lbs.
I did have another female puppy that I gave to my girlfriend as a Gift for no reason, just b/c she wanted one and 1 male puppy w/c I sold to a family that waited a year and a half for him! Unlike others I had decided and planned on breeding my own family......I purchased "Breeding Quality" but they are definetly spoiled rotten and treated as if they were my own kids. I do not Breed for monetary gain but to improve what I already have! I couldn't have done any of it without the added help of fellow YT.'s
I learned alot of things that wasn't in the books, I don't claim to be an expert on them by any means but I am an expert on my own dogs.
It's a relief to know I'm not the only one crazy about them!
