I'm a newb to all this YT. This will be my first ever dog and as a matter of fact, my first ever pet . I want to start out right so bare with me if you will
I'm picking Rusty up in 2 weeks. I want him to feel comfortable when he gets here. He will be 8 weeks old and is incredibly tiny. Maybe not the teeny tiny ones (Teacups???) but fairly small. But anyways, I'm about to purchase some reuseable training pads (pee pads). Should I go for those or should I go for the disposable ones? I'm also thinking of getting a crate. But I haven't for the life of me figured out what size yet. I heard that the crate should accomodate to the full adult size of the dog. I was leaning towards a 22" D or 24" D as they are the smallest crates I've found. Someone please help. I was thinking of putting food, water, toys and pee pads in a xpen with the crate inside it of course... Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
