I disagree with the "firm reprimand" or "crating" when your grandson comes to visit..

I would suggest everytime the little one comes over please sit on the floor with the child and the yorkie get down on his level with both by your side. He is scared, intimidated and unfamiliar with your little grandson.

If your consistant each time your grandson arrives your yorkie baby and adult yorkie will become accustom to your grandsons movements and smells....

Small children move fast and haphazardly which will scare a little yorkie, make him defensive and or nervous.

A word command like "be nice" in a firm tone works as well, I have 7 yorkies and when any hear that phrase they stop in their tracks and pay attention.
