I've been a yorkie owner for 3 yrs and Ihave 3 yrs experience, that's all. I have learned tons of information and still have lots to learn! When asked , I'm honest and tell them about having a tiny yorkie because so many people ask me where to get one that they want one so bad.I tell them if they really want a small one to do a little homework and google small yorkies. I always tell them that if they have a full time job and busy life then a tiny yorkie might not be for them, mainly for the first couple of months. I devote sooo much time when I get a puppy and it can be draining but I love it because it's also when I get to bond with my furbaby.
Sometimes I catch myself giving more information than I think they can handle. I can clearly see it on someone's face when it's time to wish them good luck on their new puppy search!
