A Yorkie Maltese mix can look anything from a Yorkie to a Maltese and anything in between. I do pet grooming for someone that has two litter sister of Yorkie/maltese crosses, now 12 years old, and they do not look at all alike, one looks more like a very light coloured Yorkie the other is black with a white chest. The Yorkie looking one has erect ears, the other large floppy ears.
Also, in my experience with pet grooming, most people that mix breeds do not start out with purebred parents which in this case a purebred Yorkie bred to a purebred Maltese. Most are crosses that look like a purebred so the offspring really can be almost anything. |
