I wanted to add...the Pneumonia could have been caused by the trachea wash....because of fluid getting into the lungs ask Rini about this possibility.

Ask for the file and I can take it to my vet and get another opinion. I think that vet has a responsibility here IMHO. It should have never been done with your babies age and only a week of treatment.

There is another thing the breeder should had advised you to do the wash or not I WOULD HAVE SAID NO! only after 2-4 weeks would I have considered any alternative, after the drugs had run its course or there had been a turn for the worse.
