Oh yes, They do, indeed, learn from each other.

Cassie was two when we got Ivan. Up until then we didn't think she even liked to bark. In fact I doubt that she barked more than 10 times in that first 2 years. Well, Ivan changed that. He is territorial and even people walking down the sidewalk in front of our house will get an earful. Cassie doesn't over due it like he does but she barks a lot more now. Cassie kind of raised Ivan so it didn't surprise us that he started greeting us with a toy in his mouth like she does. It has to be a stuffed toy and you have to take it from them or they will keep bugging you till you do. Adie idolizes Cassie and we are seeing more and more behaviors that she learned from her. She now barks when the doorbell rings among others. I have always noted that my dogs have always learned to walk on a leash from the dog that was there when we got them. I have never had to leash train. They heal, sit when I stop, and keep right beside me. They ignore other dogs and children while walking too. Lucky me huh?

I don't care if they pick up each others habits - it is too much fun to see it!
