Tuesday is Bengi's 1 Birthday!!! I'm so excited! So, I decided to invite my parent and other family members to celebrate it on Sunday. I don't have friends with small dogs, so only my brother will bring his minipin, Brownie. The thing is that when I told my mom that I was going to invite them for lunch because it was Bengi b-day, she laughed at me!!! She was like "I'd love to have lunch, but don't tell people it's because of Bengi's birthday because they will laugh at you" Is there any problem with that???? I mean, I'm not gonna just let them come in and not tell them why I'm doing it, right? Otherwise I'll tell them not to come!
Then, she asks me if she should bring something (like a side or dessert), so I tell her no, but it would be nice if she could bring a little something for Bengi. So, she goes, what???? and laughs!
I mean, I think she'll spend less if she buys a little toy or something than if she has to prepare some food to bring along!
My mom loves Bengi, and she takes care of them a few times a week when I'm at work, but I don't get why she reacts like this with this type of stuff. Same with my uncle, excepts that he doesn't even like him.
They think I'm exaggerating too much with him. They don't understand he's special to me!!!
I don't care what they think! but if they are not going to celebrate his birthday, I don't think I would want them to come...
