It is an herbal preparation (liquid) made from flowers, etc. It is to be used to calm. I have taken it myself and it does help. I know people have given it to their fur kids but I have not done that. You should be able to find it at any health food store. You can google "Rescue Remedy". As I recall, they have a web site that will tell you where you can buy it.
