if you wear a seat belt... I know we've had a thread before about IF you use a seat belt ...this is about that if you do use one it's extremely important to place it correctly or you risk severe internal injuries.....I was reading a Reader's Digest story about a young girl who was in a bad car accident...she received ALL her injuries from the seat belt, not the crash...she endured numerous operations for major internal injuries because the belt was placed over the stomach area... it's supposed to be placed over the pelvic bones...especially for pregnant women,you could lose your baby...the following link shows proper placement:

If your car is traveling at 75 mph.at the time of collision that is the same speed your body is propelled forward into the belt or wind shield...This little adjustment could save a lot of heart ache for some....Just thought you should know...
