We had the privilege of adopting the beautiful Gucci who is a 6.5 month old male puppy. It is such an amazing story and I had no idea how lucky I really was to get this little sweetie.
I found him on a rescue sight I have been tracking daily in the hopes of finding JoJo a brother. I was looking for a younger dog since JoJo is only 9 months but I knew what a challenge that would be!
One day I see a beautiful puppy and apply thinking I don't even have a chance. After much screening, home visits, etc. I was chosen out of hundreds of applications! I did not know his background until after I adopted him.
Come to find out, he was surrendered by his loving breeder who could not find the perfect home for him. She had sold his brother, kept his sister and was looking for the perfect home for Gucci, despite several inquiries. She wanted someone who would be home much of the time (I work a lot from home), someone with another small dog, preferably a Yorkie, no small children, a fenced area for the dogs to play, etc.
She surrendered the dog instead of selling him to just anyone. She knows Yorkie Rescue places their dogs very carefully and has an intense screening process. She did not make any money on this pup, just wanted him to have he best home.
Her and I keep in touch, she also spoke at length with me. She sent me beautiful baby pictures of him and his family, wants us to keep in touch and get together and she offered to puppy sit when we go away!
I cannot believe how blessed my family is with the addition of this beautiful pup and how happy JoJo is to have a playmate.

JoJo is a little cute and adorable furball, and Gucci has a pretty face and silkier coat with a more majestic look.
