Jump On Me If You Want. I read the original post and read the follow up posts and tried hard to keep my mouth shut but what it's just not working. First of all, I feel very very sorry for this little guy. I feel sorry for him because the owner is more interested in recouping her money and then some, rather then just saying "Hey I can't handle him but I love him enough to eat what I paid and just find him a more suitable home where he'd be happy and well cared for."
The fact that she cares more about the $$ makes me wonder whether or not his aggressiveness is due to his surroundings. Now, whoever wants to jump on me is more then welcome but I don't think anyone can possibly justify her charging more then she originally paid and frankly I feel it's hard to justify the fact that she's so stuck on the $$ rather then finding him a suitable home.
I'd like to ask her (if she's reading these posts) If someone contacts you with the $$ amount your asking but will not provide the home he needs, but rather use him for breeding purposes would you sell him to that person? The fact that he's small and un-neutered leaves a wide door open for puppymills to contact you. They don't care how socialized he is. Atleast neuter the poor guy prior to selling him. This is what a responsible owner does when she cares about the welfare of her loved pet. Elaine |
