Has he found the right home yet?` I have just spent the last 45 minutes reading every post in this thread and I have to say I am totally baffled. Why try to make a profit IN INDEED all you want is to find him a new home. I read in one of the post (forget which one) that ask'd how many breeders actually stand by a take back guarantee? Well I am a breeder of AKC Yorkies and have always and always will stand by my guarantee that if the owner for any reason cann't keep the puppy purchased from me I will take it back and find it another loving home at no cost to the current or new owner. My first and most important goal is the happiness of my Yorkies and if that means taking a loss on rehomeing one then so be it.
It doesn't matter if the puppy is AKC, CKC, UKC or APRI the poor little guy still deserves the chance to be a happy and loved furbabie. Please understand that this is all just my opinion and how I am with my babies and I am not trying to condem breeder or owner. Some babies just grow up to be very protective as any book on the Yorkshire Breed will tell you "They get very attached to their humans". Saddly enough many of us think that it is cute when our new little puppy starts to protect mommy or daddy from the boogy man, when if fact what we should be doing is correcting this behavor from the very start. With this being said I would have to say that I disagree with a statement that was made saying that it was just that the dog has issues with agression. In my eyes this is something that could very easily be corrected from the very start if the owner had taken the time. I am impressed with the fact that she is looking to rehome him but I don't believe that is rehoming that is his or her main concern, to me and AGAIN JUST MY OPINION the first concern sounds to be the almighty dollar. I pray that this little guy finds a loving home and gets the chance that every animal so richly deserves. Terri and the Gang |
