I have gall stones - at least one huge one that the dr. called in all the nurses to see during my amniocentises and ultrasound in 1988. It was the biggest he had ever seen. Up till then, I would have what felt like a heart attack about every 2 weeks. After Krysten was born, I started having them up to 5 times a week sometimes 2 or 3 a day. I went on a fat-free diet that helped. It was hard at first but got easier as I discovered things I could eat. I never had it out and I haven't had an attack in probably 3 or more years. I don't know if it disolved on it's own, but the Dr. couldn't feel it any more. Yes, it could be felt from the outside. Stay away from anything gassy, fatty, fried, dairy, chocolate, or anything with oils in it. Good luck.
