Hi Toby's mom. I'm so sorry about your little guy. I don't have any knowledge on Liver Shunt, except to say to try and get him in with someone that specializes. I know my note isn't much to help but hang in there. I do know how you're feeling. My 10 year old that we've had from a pup was just diagnosed with cancer. Stage III and not much that can be done except hope that the removal of the tumor keeps him comfortable and happy for however long he has. His was a tumor in the foot pad, very rare.
