I just use someones toothbrush....
Really... I use Scrubbing Bubbles on the tub, it's a spray foam, it cleans w/ out scrubbing...it's great!
As for the toilet I've used CLR for calcium, lime, & hard water stains....
Pee smell, try vinegar, it stinks also, but the smell evaporates.
