That's exactly what I thought. My point is that it is a personal decision where your baby sleeps. The thing is they will still be sleeping whether they are on your bed or in a crate. If you did have him sleep in a crate, that still wouldn't be a reason to have to give him up to a rescue.
Again, I think you are doing great. Not everyone is going to care for their babies in the same manner. If you know that you are doing your best and you love him, that's what really matters.
