I prefer a metal comb. I feel like I have more control. I never use my brushes anymore. I found some that were a really good price so I bought a bunch thinking I would make them available to my new puppy owners. But since we have not had any luck yet getting puppies and due to lack of space I would be willing to sell some if anyone is interested. They are only $4.00 each and that includes first class shipping (USA).
They are stainless steel, 6 inches long with half of the comb having 11 teeth per inch and the other half having 7 teeth per inch. It works really well for using the wider spaced side for the first comb through then the finer teeth for a finishing touch and to make sure you got it all.
