I planned to get this info from my vet but b/c I was very frustrated this morning these ?s slipped my mind. I don't want my fellow YT members to think I am oblivious and wouldn't think to ask my vet.
Do you think I should call back tomorrow and see what they say?
Anyhow I trust your experiences and hope to use this info when l talk to the vet.

My vet did not put Bella or Louie on antibiotics but he did make her have all kinds of tests first to make sure that she could handle the anisthesia,,,because of her small size, and they checked for liver shunt by testing bile acids and everything a couple of weeks before the spay. She did not have stitches because our vet does "lazor surgery". (none on the outside anyways). It was kinda weird because he DID give Louie pain meds but not Bella....I dont know why? They both did just fine though and recovered very quickly. Good luck hun Im sure everything will be just fine.
