Yes, it is perfectly normal. Some start doing it at an early age while others start much later. And some never have a problem with it. I have two males, one is a yorkie, the other is a maltese and the only time they have ever humped anything was a female dog when she is in heat.
I would say get your boy neutered as soon as you can. Until
then, I would discourage all humping, I wouldn't even recommend giving him a toy for humping, it will just encourage the behavior. |
