Rusty does it too.... it takes a few minutes to go down, he certainly gets a good rest while he waits.
Anyways.... we have been trying to watch for it more lately and stop him but he does have his "special friend" and he doesn't do it to anything/one else. Whew!!!! You might try "Nah Ah" to get his attention and stop him each time or even a water bottle if he doesnt stop with Nah ah
