I'm sorry to hear that. Do you know if it was her BUN level? When Bentley got fix 2 months ago, his preliminary bloodwork showed a high BUN level that sometimes can signal a kidney problem. They were able to do more extensive testing to find that it was not a kidney problem and was likely from too much fat in his diet. They suggested we switch to adult food as puppy has a lot of fat and cut down on the treats (he was getting a lot of treats in puppy class). I'm hoping Lexi's is something similar and she will pull through just fine. |
