Cynthia - Yes, random people do just surf right in. I've actually made some good friends that way -- 2 from Chicago, 1 from Nova Scotia, 1 from Boston, a White Sox fan in California, etc. Its like having penpals! I don't write super personal stuff in there. I mostly post pix and write articles about current events, etc.
