As if this isn't ironic!
Today I finally worked up the courage to call the vet and schedule a date to have Bella Spayed.
I have been racking my Brain on how this will affect her both short and long term. Like it will be better for her long term b/c she wont get ovarian, uterine, or fallopian cancer. However also she is 7lbs @11 mos and that is really small for a major surgery. I know they do this for smaller dogs and other small animals but I am just very over protective! I want what is best for her.
So I made the appointment. She had gone into heat right after Christmas and it ended at the end of January. So I figured I had at least until June to get this done.
Not 10 mins after scheduling the appointment I find a spot of blood. I checked her and she is in heat again!
The appointment isn't until May so I kept the appointment in hopes that she will be finished by the time the appointment comes around.
I called the vet back just to clarify and he said they could keep the appointment and to just call and reschedule if necessary. which was nice.
But omg what a morning I had. Now how is that for ironic.lol
