He is 19 weeks old. I wish I hadn't tried the eyelash glue. One ear still has the paper attached but the other doesn't. It's pitiful. But even with that on there, the ear is still floppy. He's about 7 lbs right now so maybe that has something to do with it?
He's in wonderful health but the breeder told us that due to his size he would be considered "pet quality." He was the largest in the litter and will probably be a 10 pounder. The sire and dam were both under 7lbs but it appears Spicy won't follow suit. This is fine with us because we weren't planning to breed or show and with 3 kids- he's a good size for us.
But the more I have read and learned about the "standard" the more I want to do everything I can so he will fit in as many of those standards as possible. Know what I mean? He is absolutely adorable. His coloring will be beautiful and we just love him. I only wish I could help get those big ol ears up.
