I live in the country, far out where I can't get any of the fantastic technolgy thats offered! I love the country, but hate that we can't get anything out here
So, I decided to look into Satellite Internet and went thru Dish Network and it was installed today.
Its a very over cast day and everything is working great!
I ordered their lowest speed pkg and I'm lovin it
As its faster than dial up.
It wasn't that pricey either. $199.00 equipment fee, no installation, and 49.95 per month. Then there a rebate since I have Dish for TV of $100.00, which they will deduct $10 per month of my bill for 10 months. So really....its not that bad.
I only used my landline phone for my dial up internet so I'm canceling that and using my cell phone. Cancel my Netscape and callwave...and I'm SAVING money every month!
So lets hope this continues to work good!!!!
Any other Satellite Internet users out there?
