I have to agree with TatumsMom and say that it could be a simple coding mistake. My husband had to have a $2,500.00 test a few years ago. I called our insurance company beforehand and they said it was covered at 100% yet when it was sent it they denied it. I had to talk with them from the dr's billing office and straighten it out. They had updated their codes and added some new ones...the test was covered but the dr's office sent it in under the old code and it was actually now under one of the new ones. You might want to try again.
Good luck!
