I feel the same.....and have heard so many different things about vaccines on small dogs. (or any dog for that matter). I remember once there was a discussion about it here on YT and I have chatted w/ several other people regarding vaccines and pets. Some people believe that their pets do NOT need any vaccines...some vets/states only require some vaccines every 2-3 years, some vets/people say that all pets HAVE to have all vaccines....on and on.....regarding the amount...well, I think that common sense would tell anyone that a small dog (for example) that weighs 5lbs would NOT need the same dosage as a dog (for example) that weighs 100lbs. I mean really...to me, it seems that a large dosage like that for a small dog could do some damage and for a big dog, if he had a dose for a 5lb dog, it would pretty much be like he didn't get anything at all.....or I would think. Course, I know several people that feel the same about vaccines for their children too...not just vaccines but other medications...so, I guess it is a personal preference and what you can work out w/ your vet.
