Ha ha, Jessica. Cash is just a ball of fire! He, pardon my expression, but he's just so "ballsy" sometimes. LOL! The cats are 3-4 times bigger than him and he throws himself at them (and my Oreo is a prissy cat...the queen...nobody challenges her or they get swiped! But she doesn't swipe...she's amazingly fascinated by him and just watches when he isn't running after her around the house). He's RIGHT at their face and barks then runs away. OMG, he's so funny! He's taken to biting the cats and Tahoe's feet and then darting away, so I'm trying to be stern with a "no bite!" while trying not to laugh.
I crated him yesterday when I went to work because I had to take Tahoe to the vet and when I got home, he was right at the door when I got home. Houddini, as he should have been named, managed to escape the CRATE! Little sneak! I don't know how he did it, but he did it. He was so proud of himself.
He's not much of an eater though. I have to repeatedly tell him to go back and eat his soft food. Tahoe gobbles his up and when he's done, he'll happily go after Cash's leftovers while Cash is off inspecting some thread in a throw rug...so I have to gate them apart at dinner or Cash would never get any food! He does love his hard food though and likes to run to the dish, sneak one piece of hard food...look around and then bolt away as fast as he can ...like he's on some secret mission. Maybe he should have been named Jack Bauer (of the tv show "24"). It's hilarious.
Anyway, that's the latest update. If you're ever up here, let me know and we can get the boys together. I had a sneaking suspicion that you were going to have a hard time giving up Yin after the tough emotions you dealt with at giving up Yo. You're a loving mom. There are worse things in the world than loving too much!
Thanks for your concern and thoughts about Tahoe. He's doing much better. After his third appointment to the vet yesterday, we determined he was infected with some kind of bacteria in his stool, which was causing his diarrhea. Cash is unaffected, thank god. He's also got severe allergies to the outdoors right now so I have him on benedryl and he's improving.
Good luck and I'll keep in touch.
