I have just checked my animals passports and 2 were given Quantum rabies vacc(in UK) the other 2 had Nobivac rabies vacc(in France) all 4 were fine. But funnily last week i got the dogs regular vaccines done and argued with my vet about the amount they wanted to give Pippa as they were giving her the same as my lab, now my lab is 35kgs and Pippa is 8lb so logic would tell you the lab needs more???? I have read that some vets recommend that small animals only have this done every 3 years compared with the bigger dogs being done every year. Well the up shot was they said 'in France we believe they should have the same amount and every year too' Thoughts on this would be appreciated. |
