When Tia got her rabies shot our vet gave us a similar tag and a phone number to call to register her. I was thinking of doing it but thought it was a little redundant...she wears a tag with her name and our phone number on it, and she will be microchipped when she gets spayed at the end of next month. I just keep the "rabies free" tag in her medical file.
