Hi Holly,

Many vets are not knowledgeable about healthy dog foods. I would just be cautious esp. if the vet is selling the ProPlan at his practice.

I dunno....what else WOULD he say when you called, you know what I mean? I'd have been surprised if he said "ah, you know, I am wrong - I do recommend a crappy food. I take back my recommendation."

I don't mean to preach - whatever you're comfortable with is what matters. Just know that there are some great resources to do some research on your own and make your own conclusions.
