You should not pay anything else!!! I agree it is not normal the stitches are broken so soon!!! And the poor baby, must be in pain, and an infection could be really dangerous in such small dogs as yorkies... I am not sure if I would want to go back to the same vet, but for sure he should stand for his work...
Juanito had a shot a couple days ago, next day he was limping... I called the vet, he checked his neurological system, and I did not pay anything else... following up, is how it is called! And they say they love animals....
