I do the same thing with gracie i roll a few pieces at her across the room and she gobbles it up. When I first got her I struggled SO much. I started to feed her canned food, because all the nutrients are all there!! (i know that it isn't great on their teeth to only feed them that though) she has gotten so much better, but she eats my dads dogs food, which is Science Diet Large Breed puppy food...the vet said that was okay...Good luck!!
