I agree with the other members - call the clinic. I would express my disappointment with the extra charges and ask that they reconsider and look at her immediately. If they won't do it - call another clinic!
My vet never charges for follow up procedures. Anytime a spay or neuter comes back for stitch removal we do it for free.
