Thank you all for all your warm wishes. I forwarded the all the nice responses you sent on to him. He doesn't feel like a Hero at all. When he found out what they wanted to do at the school, he agreed if they mentioned all of his comrades that died along side of him while he was there. He felt They were the true Hero's.
Along with cameraman Doug Vogt that filmed his unit & traveled with him along with ABC newsman Bob Woodruff. Doug Vogt was killed.
I am so Proud of my Son Ryan, & thankful he made it back safe.
By the way, Ryan & my daughter-in-law are now expecting their second child.
