most breeders i have found that advertised teacups when i was searching for my baby had puppies of average size and were just calling them teacups. so breeders in my area seem to think that as long as they are below standard yorkie size then they are teacups. which is not what id refer to as a teacup they would be standard size. i think we need a term for the smaller yorkies because obviously they do occur and obviously their are some people out there who would prefer the smaller size. I dont honestly think it should be treated like a cus word like it is on this site but it shouldnt taken and abused by breeders who breed for the smaller size and forget all about the health of the poor puppies they will bring into this world.
