I switched! I bought Hartz plus 4! Can't hurt I thought because my other dogs wore the Hartz collar for 16 & 13yrs with no problems. He has had his second dose and I have not found another tick." I will continue to use it unless it disappoints me also.

Are you still using the Hartz product? I just started with it and I also smell the skin-so-soft. Neither dog had any reactions, their hair was a little oily for a couple of days. I was not impressed with frontline. My shepard got lyme disease when using it.
