and I found out that Lilo has 2nd grade of LP in her right hind leg.
The surgery will be done propably around 20th of may, BC i need to be in NY on 15-17 for training, and I can't leave her alone for this long.
The Vet quoted me for $1500 to $2000 for one knee to be repaired, but if she will need second one done at this same time, it will cost only $500 more.
I can't really afford it right now, so I'm also looking into veterinary surgeons college, to see if the students won't do it for cheaper.
But if I don't find any other option in a month , than I'll just have to do it with my current surgeon.
Do you guys think that I should also ask my breeder for some money back?
I think that LP is hereditary, and Lilo is still only 9 mo. old.
I don't know if she will help me with any vet bills, but I'll better check with her.
