I have groomed for over 30 yrs...my favorite clipper is the Oster Golden A5-2 speed. I have only needed to buy two in all these years. You can buy a power booster for more power if needed. Oster was very willing to refurbise my old set, but there was a sale and I wanted a new one anyway..
Always buy from a dog supply or ebay...clipper blades are much cheaper in the catolog also.
When I ordered my last set, Oster made a mistake and sent two, but charged for one...I called them and they told me to keep it..and there was no extra charge.
