 hates car rides
You gotta desensitize him. Put a special toy in the car, put the dog in the car and don't go anywhere. Just let him be with his toy in the car for about 5 or l0 minutes. Next day same thing. Next day increase time in car with his speical toy. Keep doing this until he associates the car with the special toy. Take him on real short trips. To the mailbox, etc. Gradually increase time of trips in car. This is what a vet on a radio program said to do. |
