Oh yeah. We have two Yorkies right now, and we've decided on getting a third. When I mentioned this to my mother she looked horrified. Oh well, Mom's never been much of an animal person. I was always bringing home pets as a kid, and she always considered them a hindrence on her time, emotions, and traveling. Now as an adult, she still acts as though I'm going to expect her to have to take care of them.
Crazy. I'm 34 now, and haven't left any pets in her care since I went to college at age 19. Crazy, Crazy.
