How old is your pup??

Also, I think 45 min. of bringing them out is also too long. I found that I consistently brought Scruffy out every 1/2 hour whenever he was awake and had free roam (of our KITCHEN.......blocked him off from our living room until he was down to 1-2 accidents/wk)and 1/2 hour really worked for us!!! If for some reason we were eating or something at the 1/2 hour mark, I brought him out at the 20-25 min. mark.......rarely going over 1/2 hour. I always told myself that I may be obsessive with bringing him outside.........but it will pay me back once I get him trained...........and believe me, it did!!!!! Scruffy was potty trained right before 4 months, and I KNOW it was because of my consistency!!! YES, I got frustrated and irritated when he pottied inside, but never ONCE did I blame him..........those few accidents he had was usually AFTER the 30 minute mark........and that was MY FAULT. If you can catch them in the act of peeing or pooing, that will make an impact rather than after the fact!
GOOD LUCK!!!
