Biewers do cost a bit more right now for the fact they are still so new.
Biewers can be registered with the IBC in Germany. That is where they started from. Also, if you belong to a Biewer Breed Club, they also offer registries with them. This is to track all Biewers and to make sure they can be traced bnack to German blood. Of course, alot more goes into it, but hoping that as long as the clubs keep track, this will help them to get them to be recognized by AKC one day. But in all actuality, they aren't that much more than traditional Yorkies. IMO...if someone is charging 5,000 or more for Biewers...run away!!!! Those are the breeders that are in it for the money and greed only. Do your research and your homework! There are many reputable breeders who do not charge and arm and a leg for them.
