Duncan does the same thing!!! I had to sneak to watch him but I saw how he did it... He lifts the latch with his paw, then puts his head against that to hold it up, then puts his paw out to the latch again and moves it over to the side to release it... He's gotten quite good at it.. We have to put it against the wall or he's out in about 10 seconds.. Soo smart it's scarey lol
