I agree, as long as you are happy. I only want one dog but if you want more than one, so what?! That is your preference. People who are not used to animals say dumb things. My family aren't pet lovers at all, so you can imagine the crap I got when I said I was getting ONE!

I got together with family yesterday and my great aunt said " I heard you got a mutt" So you know I was pissed right? I told her "I do not have a MUTT I have a dog. A mutt is a mixed breed, my dog is a full breed" She said "well he's a mutt to me." Whatever lady...is what I was thinking.I had to respect her because she is older.
