Honestly, I wouldn't send him to a rescue home. I can certainly understand wanting to recoup some of her expenses. The rescue home will charge you 400 at least to buy or "adopt" their dogs. She can also screen the potenial buyers just as well as the rescue can. I do think that you will have to come down on your price a bit. I hope all goes well.
